Backstory (As told by the unicorn himself): "Yeah? How I got here? Well let's see. I was the son of a stallion and mare unicorn obviously. A mail mare named First Class and a stallion mechanic by the name of Gear Box. Social life wasn't too hard though I struggled. Magic knowledge? Of course I got some. I went to Canterlot to study. Not my choice though. I ended up getting sent there because, well, I levitated a house. No not a dog house. A one story house. No one in it. But yeah i lifted one. Doubt I'd do it again because it did hurt. So after the house moving, off to Canterlot School for gifted unicorns to control my talent."

"My cutie mark? Oh how I got it. Well I should say even before I transferred, I had a...pen-chance for chemicals. I loved mixing anything and eveything together. And when it made a stink, I would do it more. Leaving me to never be left alone in any lab. In Canterlot, it was advised that I should not be alone. I wasn't alone alot, but I still experimented. But then I got challenged. Not just by my teacher. But by Princess Celestia herself. My challenge? Make something for my mom for her birthday and whatever I made would be sent to her. I love making fowl things because, well, I am a bit of a prankster. But I wasn't about to do that to my mom. So I was locked in for a week. Provisions provided. Glasses slipped on. Challenge obviously accepted. When the week was up, there were broken vials every where, a full sink reeking of who knows what as well as vent hood running on max, 7 bottles for my mom and an exhausted unicorn next to a display table. I snapped out of it and right in front of me, are my parents with a smile on their faces. I'm not seeing straight through the whole thing but my first non-hazy thought said out loud is "If I can do this, I should be able to do this for others. And I can always tell who should be wearing what smells." My dad just sat their polishing my glasses as the sun comes in and he just says "So, that's your life now? Good. You got a little something there you must have sat in." My dad's way of telling me my cutie mark has shown itself. I love it. A star shaped bottle. No way to know what's really in there until you put your nose to it. Cologne? Perfume? Stink Bomb? It's up to me."

"How did I meet Giggles? Happened after I left Canterlot. I got my cart of stuff and I'm looking for a place to camp for the day. I'm just out there and not paying attention and I see this pair of horns following me. Then I shine a light and low and behold there's this jackalope looking at me. I'm not giving it much thought but then as I'm heading towards Ponyville, I see it looking at me again. Eventually I head to the veterinarian's office and trick the thing in. I'm laughing because I didn't think the little lady (as I found out later on) would have followed. And then I see what looks like laughing from the jackalope. And the Vet just says "Giggles. SHe's full of giggles." The jackalope then curls up next to me and snoozes. And so, Giggles has been by my side, working on finding whatever plants to help with my business."
